| Kingmax TSOP or Corsair XMSPC4000 ? Looking for an inexpensive choice here - last time I bought the best (at the time) ram & was disappointed... This is for a 3.0 running at 3.6, mostly heavy Excel calculations of large spreadsheets, light gaming & web access. The Kingmax would run $200 for 1GB (here) and the Corsair $250 (here) Reviews: Kingmax review Corsair review Unless someone else can point out another option (Komusa? Hardcorcooling? Adata?)... Thanks. Last edited by jmichaelp : 09-26-2004 at 10:33 PM. Reason: added cpu/overclock & usage |

| Between the 2 you have listed, I'd take the Corsair hands down. IMO, Kingmax is NOT performance RAM like OCZ or Corsair. The extra $50 on the Corsair may not be in your budget but, I would think it would do well with your CPU at 240mhz. You could probably even reduce the timings a bit which I am not sure you'd be able to do with the Kingmax. Mike.
