|  Memtest with 4gigs? Hey, was just wondering if MEMTEST will actually test a full four gigs? (2x2) or should I test 1 stick at a time? I ask, cuz when It boots, its shows something close to 3.2gig I'm having problems with a new build crashing, and need to find the culprit! Memtest did pass 1 round of tests with no errors... ALL games crash just after they load in and I start gameplay. wether the system is OC'd or not, system crashes just after I start play. Crysis, NWN2, are what I have tried so far. 3DMark06 does pass without problems. Currently O/C'd to 2.89Ghz (8x360) Specs: Corsair CMPSU-620HX 620W PSU P5E-VM HDMI e2180 2.0Ghz (default 1.15v set to 1.35v) 2x2GB G.Skill 5.5.5.15 (Default 1.8v set to 2.1v) HIS HD3870 Iceq3 Turbo 850 All temps are great under load. CPU never hits over 45c GPU maybe 65c sugestions?

| Re: Memtest with 4gigs? Yes, I have run prime, seems ok, but dunno how to run two instances? OS: XPPro 32bit I have just played Guild Wars, and Hellgate, both for about 15 mins, and ran fine. But both Crysis and NWN2 have crashed... ? K, I figured out the two instances... CPU #1 stops almost instantly with prime. CPU #0 keeps running... Gunna drop all OC and run stock and try again.

| Re: Memtest with 4gigs? CAT driver problem? Try an earlier CAT. 7.11 or 7.12. Try F.E.A.R. and HL2E2 and Oblivion. |

| Re: Memtest with 4gigs? I ran 2xPrime95 last night, no errors at stock speed. Ran crysis, and crashed 30secs into the game  (stock speed, mem bumped to 2.1v) I've tried cats 8.1 and the CD supplied drivers. No difference. DLing some other demos... see what happens, thanx!

| Re: Memtest with 4gigs? This may not be it but I had a similar problem with games crashing on my new build and someone on this board said that installing the games with cpu/memory overclocked can cause corruption. Did you install while overclocked? Uninstalling everything and starting over at stock clocks made everything run great forme. I just cranked the OC back up after install. Good luck.
