Question

Right now i have 128 100mhz i want to get a 133 stick. is it ok to mix these 2 sticks or should i take out the 100mhz. and if possible which slot should i put each into. and how would it affect my over clocking.

Thanks

You don't want to mix 100 with 133 it will run at the lower 100mhz. A cusl2 mobo may not work right with that mix anyhow. Take out the 100 and put the 133 in slot one for best oc'ing!

In what fsb/cas setting can the PC100 module run?
Many good PC100 outperform crappy PC133`s.
I had a 32Mb PC100 that hit 154 333-147 322 which is better than a lot of crappy PC133 modules that can operate at 133 333 only to be stable.
Check out the mem quality you buy and not the quantity.
Like Skull said it`s better not to mix different modules and better use a single one, single sided 128Mb,in slot1 to get the highest in OC.
Consider that 128Mb is the base and 256Mb are just perfect in most cases and your OC can be same.
256Mb setup can be either by one d-sided module or two s-sided ones, but for the last choise max upgrade will be 384Mb.
Quality vs quantity?10-1
