| mixing memory quick question I have two sticks of pc2100 2x256 not doing anything. also in my system I have a 1gb pc3200 2x512 Because DDR memory is backward-compatible, you can safely upgrade your system with any of the guaranteed-compatible DDR speeds listed below, even if your manual calls for PC1600 or PC2100 speeds. what would happen if i put these two stick in what will be read, or will it slow it down and i just have 1.5 of mix ram

| Re: mixing memory It will slow down to the lowest common denominator speed, and should all be counted as long as the mobo supports the modules.
