Hey, I just got one 128mb Rev1.5 Mushkin rams for 59$ with free shipping. I've noticed that the same Rev2 Mosel Chips are used on this ram only. So I'm going to test them out soon and let you guys know how it goes. They are the 7ns=143 chips..If all goes well, then I don't see a need to buy the Rev2 for 18~20$ more.

Cool

It would be nice if you can post the best result of your new SDRAM (Sandra scores + highest fsb, vcore, vio, & all other relevant specs)

I'm very sure I can go higer. It looks like this ram is as good as the Rev2 Stick of Ram I also have. But I'm still working on a few other problems before I'm ready to fully Mod the system and run her at Max. So for now I've tried a safe 155/155/??, 2-2-2, 6/7, normal and regular volts OC. This is my very first OC bench on this system...So bare with me untill I max it out in time.

Thumbs up

Ymaster, I think the rev 1.5 is good huh? It's almost like the rev2 128MB like you said. You are running 1 stick 128MB rev 1.5 right & your base PII is 800EB right? Try to increase beyond 155 up to 160 to see its capabilities. Don't forget to change 5/7 to 7/9 and normal to strong if you have problems. Please post your result. It's very interesting, cause I am thinking of buying the rev 1.5 for another machines

Well, Cas2@155 7/9 Normal seems to work great with this ram. If I go higher the System likes to luck up do too voltage, cooling issues or one of my crappy parts reguardless if it was rev2 or rev1...sigh

Anyways, The computer would not overclock past 133 at 5/7 strong..But At 7/9 it does not seem to take a hit in speed and climes up to 155 solid with normal.

I would still buy the Rev2 just to be safe though. It might have a newier SPD part to make the ram run better overall with newier motherboards? I recall my Rev2 doing about 158 and 160max...

1. If your a mad insane man after speed. Then Stay with Rev2 to be safe. Some people have not gotten even 155 like me. But i'm sure they are older rams on a another model made long before my time.

2. If your not really much of an overclocker but would like a dam fine stick of memory for cheap with a lifetime warrenty. Then Mushkin rev1.5 is the stick of ram for you!

That is all...
