Hello, ever since I added 128MB more memory, the system slows down sometimes. For example, when I am opening certain programs, the mouse does not move smoothly on the screen while the program is loading. It jumps from one place to the next instead of smooth motion. This never happened before. Why is this? Can it be the type of ram I put in.

Put everything back the way it was before the problem. See if that helps! Yes it could be RAM related. Use Mushkin memory avoid alot of head ache!
