Well, if your strictly looking at specifications, than OCZ is the current leader. Take a look:

Corsair TWINX1024-4000: 3-4-4-8-$395.00
Kingston DDR 500MHz (PC4000): 3-4-4-8-$435.00
OCZ EL PC-4000: 2.5-4-4-7-$TBD

The OCZ EL PC-4000 should be available on Friday. No price has been set...

Here's my reply from the first thread. It still stands two weeks later:

I didn't vote because I'd have to vote for several.

I like Corsair, Mushkin, Kingston and Crucial. The common thing about them is that they all have high qualtiy memory and top-notch customer support.

I use different brands and types depending on the type of machine I'm putting it in and I almost always choose something from one of those four suppliers.

OCZ EL Dual Channel Optimized, 2X512MB, FSB 223, P4 2.8C @ 3108MHz, vDIMM 2.7v, 1:1, DDR 445, CAS2-6-3-2.

Runs Prime 95 Torture Test dual consoles until I tell it to stop.

Ditto MemTest-86 v3.0, error free.

Very happy with OCZ!

Made my vote for Corsair because it's been so dependable for me. I tried the OCZ 3700 Gold and ended up with one bad stick. That doesn’t mean that that couldn’t happen to a Corsair and I’m sure I will be trying OCZ again, it seems to be the stuff to beat right now. It's a shame that the Gold doesn’t come in 512MB modules also.

P.S.
I like that the new pole heaps Corsair together i.e. LL and XMS; that seems a better way to do it. That's why I didn't vote in the other one going around.

I run Mushkin and Crucial. I voted for Mushkin in the poll. I would buy OCZ.
