Talking Noob question, feel free to laugh...

On the Asus A7N8X deluxe, how exactly do you utilize the dual channel memory? I remember reading somewhere that it was slots 1 and 3 only. Or slots 2 and 3 or all three filled if you have three sticks. Right now I am currently using 1 and 2. Is this correct for utilizing dual channel memory on this board?

I just changed it to 1 and 3 and noticed that the POST reported dual channel mode. So I guess I fixed it. Thanks guys! (God Im such a noob, see what proprietary computing has done to me?)

isn't that in the manual?
my gigabyte manual almost perfectly told me which slots to use to enable dual channel
