That sounds great. I haven't done 3D Mark yet but both the DDR 520 and 530 are stable with 100 passes of memtest, tests 4-5-6 and Serious Sam intro loop for 1 hour, which has been reliable in the past for gaming stability. I will give #D mark a go tonight or tomorrow.

Ran 3DMark2001 @ DDR 530 3-4-4-7 and scored (here goes the neighboorhood) 12866 3D marks. Are ya scared yet?

Edit: Just tried your ddr 520 2.5-3-4-7 settings and I like the Sandra unbuffered score of 3356/3367 I get.

So it would seem that OCZ actually listing this RAM on their motherboard compatibility list for the P4C800 deluxe has made a significant difference over the 3700 Gold which is not listed as compatible at all !!?!??

Can't wait to see the reviews on the quad 4000 kit !!!

If I could afford another 1Gb of this stuff I'd get it, also if I could guarantee that 4 sticks of this would run at 2.5-3-4-7 then I'd get it... would love to see the memory benchies then - of course, it might also help MS Train Stimulator run better (call me sad, please!)

It will be listed..i just have been testing the 4000 as this was easier to get hold of.The 3700 Gold does function just as good as the 4000 on the P4C800 and is a lttle faster up to ddr500 as it can run cas2 and TRCD at 3 where the 4000 needs 4.

In regards to running 4x512 of this, or any ram dual channel, talking with ocz after returning 2 dual packs of 32x64 modules (I know why did I think they would work), the implication was that it would be a gamble with full population with anything other than the quad pack, which makes sense to me. Maybe Bigtoe can shed some light on this. And there was nothing definite on when a quad pack might be released.

At the moment the P4C800E disables PAT over 200fsb with 4 DS dimms.Asus are aware of this problem.

Regarding 4x512 testing ...as soon as i have them i will test all the boards I have.

I'm leaning towards the 3700 since I have a 2.8C. I think the 4000 might be overkill because the FSB will hit a wall aroung 240 or so according to BT.

IMHO, 3700 would be all you need, happy hunting.

DDRII and PCI xpress around the corner. This board will have to hold me out untill than. Without modding the caps on this MB I doubt it will really support a Prescott. The 3700 has gotten rater scarce though. I won't know till I buy it.

still there's alot of bandwidth with 4x512MB.. chainbolt did some comparisons with 4x 512MB ADATA PC4000 on P4C800-E here http://forums.overclockers.com.au/sh...hreadid=196483

Unbuffered on P4C800-E

@250mhz 1:1
2x 512MB ADATA PC4000 = 2954/3005
2x 512MB ADATA PC4000 = 3381/3352
4x 512MB ADATA PC4000 = 3711/3790

@270mhz 1:1
2x 256MB ADATA PC4000 = 3054/3080
2X 512MB ADATA PC4000 = 3620/3560

Alright, I finally got my hands on these, and am wondering how I should start testing them? So far I have only run prime 95 at 2.5 4 4 7 DDR 500 and it cant even complete one test? This is only 1 module in the blue dimm slot. Will try memtest now. Any hints you guys can share with me? I have disabled usb legacy and performance is set to standard and the other is disabled.

Btw. this is on the p4c800-e with a 2.6c

First make sure the cpu can run 250fsb with total stability.D this by running the ram async and testing with prime etc.

Once your sure the cpu is ok test the modules indevidually with memtest86 at rated speed voltage and timings, try all the slots and see what works best.If the modules work ok single do to dual and again test with memtest at rated speed, voltage and timings.

Any problems come back to me.
