OCZ EL PC4000 2x512 Dual Channel pack

OCZ EL PC4000 2x512 dual channel pack
This memory is working out great for me on the P4C800-E. I’m running my P4 2.6C at 260 FSB/DDR 520 @ 2.5-4-3-5. I used memtest86 V 3.0 and ran test 4-5-6 with no errors. I then used Serious Sam intro loop for 1 hour.

Edit: Running test 4-5-6, one hundred loops each, from Bigtoe's advice, is an excellent gauntlet for memory. Serious Sam intro loop also works well for me as a final real world test.

I get exactly the same results as you mate, this memory is well good! Have got benchies with it at 275MHz SPD, and am running 2.5-4-4-7 at 266 just now, although your timings are possible i think. ran your timings at 260MHz, was very fast

Yeah I can't believe this stuff. I really didn't notice much difference in tRAS 5 and 6, but it was just so stable I couldn't resist.

I haven't gone any lower than 7 due to the odd report of 5 corrupting data, and I don't get any performance difference going from 6 to 8 anyway, so I keep it at 7

I'll be trying Cas 2.5 shortly at this speed (266MHz)

Sorry, no image editor installed on this machine at the mo (hence zipped bitmaps) but these are DDR520 results on my machine, same board, cpu, ram and voltages...

Your doing better than me mate. That's what I find odd is that on some of my tighter timings I've been getting little difference and sometimes slower benchmarks. I will be trying some other variations of fsb/spd but it's running so stable now that I'll probably wait till I'm a little more bored.

actually i found that too when i first ran this stuff, going from SPD to Cas 2.5 actually made slower results in Sandra, both unbuffered and buffered... weird...

As BT said, running CAS3 above DDR520+ seems to yeild better then the 2.5CAS results. . . .

I would be benching at DDR550 but for some reason at 3.6GHz the cpu benchy in sandra locks up, the memory benchies don't though. Strange, as I can run 3.5GHz at default voltage, I've tried putting the vcore up to an actual 1.65v and still no difference at all.

I've only taken a screenshot of the buffered result at DDR550 thus far, although if anyone is interested I'm sure I can get unbuffered too.... again, sorry about the format, no image editor yet!

Until everything settles, this the most stable/performance for me.

3-4-4-7 265 fsb vs 2.5-4-3-5 260.

I must have trashed my image of unbuffered @ 2.5-4-3-5 fsb 260 DDR 520, it was 3333 / 3368.

I'm running DDR520 at 2.5-3-4-7 100% stable, it gives roughly 3.4GHz which is a nice round speed to end up at. Also gives 20,000 3DMarks in 2001 without ocing the video card

All in all, very impressive stuffs!
