OCZ Gold or OCZ Platinum?

I have a chance to sell my old Kingston KHX3500/256 sticks, and I want to get 2 512M PC3200 sticks. This is for a P4P800 Deluxe, with a northwood 2.4C running at 3.0 (250 FSB) RAM is running at 200 (5:4) now.

I'm currently running at 2-3-2-5 with the kingston, and I'd want the timings to be the same or better. (2-2-2-5)?

So, which of these choices would get me the best perfomance/timings?:

OCZ4001024ELDCGE-K (Gold)
OCZ4001024ELDCPE-K (Platinum)

Or another suggestion? Don't want to spend more than $150 with CA tax/shipping.

Thanks for any help...

Hey

I would take the gold over the platinum. Unless you want to go to the pc3200 platinum rev 2 the 3200 gold will be best for that system

Thanks for the reply; if only it could have been about 8 days earlier.

I did buy the platinum; and did get 2 sticks that would not POST in 2 different P4P800 Deluxe boards. I did finally get them replaced by OCZ, but it was a bit of a hassle. You saw my posts on bleedin edge.
