OCZ memory chips determination

I sent a private message to Mr. Bigtoe. He usually gets back to me quickly so I figure he must be on vacation. I thought maybe you all might be able to help me with this question. I've search this forum as well as even googling it. I'm trying to figure out what kind of chips are on my memory which is OCZ5001024ELDC-K. I found one reference to OCZ 3700 gold which indicates Samsung TCB3:

Anyone know where else I could find this information?

As always, thanks so much. Have a good weekend.

Jim

Thank you for taking the time to look. That is what I found as well. It is the gold memory. Mine is the copper. Of course, nothing about the actual chips is mentioned.

Have a good weekend.

You might want to check out this thread over at the XS forums, as it has a listing of the memory chips used.

Thanks for getting back to me. I had checked that list. It just shows PC 4000 and Hynix D5, D43 relabeled. Doesn't say anything about gold versus copper, etc. The gold certainly have a tighter timing.

Probably what they are.

Have a good weekend.
