Ocz Memory Warranty

has anyone had a problem with getting warranty repair for dual channel memory kits from OCZ?

i am trying to figure out why they sent me back only one 512mb stick of memory when i sent (RMA'd) them 2 sticks of dual channel 256mb memory!

i bought the dual channel kit to operate in a dual channel environment and what they offer in return is not satisfactory...they r not even following their own warranty policy as published on their website!

DARN!

The probably thought they were upgrading you and you would be happy. I have done a few RMAs through OCZ, and it's not rare to get better RAM back with a note attached saying "enjoy the upgrade!" Give them a call or a PM, they will take care of you.

i emailed them to find out why...i hope to hear from them by tomorrow...

they say in their warranty policy: "if the module fails our testing process, it will be replaced immediately by an equivalent or better module."...i presume that means if it is a dual channel kit, i will get like kind in return!

I'm currently waiting on an rma of my 2x512mb kit. I've previously rma'd a power supply with ocz and had no problem. I even told them the power supply might not be the problem but they replaced it just to be safe.

i finally received an email answer from a senior tech rep and he is NOW willing to send me another 512MB stick to match the one i was sent in replacement for my dual-channel kit!

it took a little arm twisting but in the end OCZ did the right thing...it definitely renewed my faith with tech support.
