| OCZ, only good things to say Hello, im from Argentina. I dont post very often, but this is something that cannot be left unsaid. I bought new parts for my computer, they consisted of: Albatron PX865 Pro II 2x PC3500 Basic OCZ 256mb sticks and a P4 2.4c The machine worked very well, I could even overclock to 3.0ghz at default voltage without problems. The only thing that didnt work properly was Prime95. It would crash even at default speeds. After hours of testing I came to the conclusion that the problem was coming from the memory, or the motherboard. Prime95 ran perfectly well with only one stick of memory. If I put the two sticks in single or dual channel mode, Prime95 gave errors in a matter of hours. Raising vdimm only made matters worse, prime errored out in a matter of minutes. At this moment I started talking with Oczguy about the problems I was having. We arrived at the conclusion that the memory was giving me problems, and told me that he could arrange a swap for new modules if I lived in USA. But I dont, and I didnt want the same kind of modules, cause maybe I would get the same problems. Conclusion: Ryan and Bo made all the arrangements for me and I just had to passed by, drop my mems, and get a Dual Channel kit, paying the difference. This may just sound obvious for you, but having this kind of service in this country is just unbelievable. Now I am running at 3ghz all stable, with prime95 testing the mems without problems for now. Just wanted to say how great OCZ support was with me... even if I didnt live in USA. Thankz Oczguy! |

| This is a touching story but, now I've got Madonna singing "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" when she portrayed Evita Perone stuck in my head. I'll never get to sleep now.

| Every once in a while you run into a company, and employees, who actually care and love what they do. Thanks for letting us know. I'm currently running Crucial DDR333 in a P4P800...and planning to update to DDR400 when I get an 800FSB chip. Think I'll give OCZ some serious consideration. |

| OCZ is a good company IMO. I work in the IT world and am a Sr. Systems Administrator. I interact with a lot of vendors in regards to their products because I'm responsible for a mid-sized enterprise data center for a Fortune 250 company. Many of our support contracts are 150k plus per year and I've gotten better service from OCZ than I do from most of those companies - and the support is free. I always find it amusing when one of our NT admins has to call Dell cause one of his drives in a server is crapping out - and Dell always treats you like a complete idiot not understanding the urgency of the situation, nor listening to your diagnosis of the problem. Step 1, did you turn the server on and did it make a beeping noise? haha. One time I had to take the phone and hold it up to a clanking hard drive before Dell would understand that the drive is toast. Geeze! None of that happened with OCZ thankfully. I picked up some OCZ Gold 3700 for my P4C800-E and it isn't working out quite right for me and OCZ has made a commitment to make it right or they will refund my money. I know others have had great success so I think perhaps I just got a bad stick. Even though I had a problem or two, they respond quickly (even outside of normal business hours) and they care about the problem. They didn't give me the run around and I didn't just deal with Ryan - there are several guys that are giving great support. So I'd have no problems buying something from OCZ again. Service goes a long way in building a good strong bond with the customer, and it's clear that is what they are trying to do and that is something I very much respect. |

| OCZ has shed the bad rep of old (and it was pretty darn bad) in my book. I bought the OCZ EL PC3500 1 GB kit and it has performed as advertised and then some with my P4C800-E DX. I would buy their memory again.
