OCZ pc4000 memory issues?

Ok my first question is this.

On the ocz website it says that the pc4000 elddr gold " is capable of achieving outrageous speeds of up to 500 MHz "

Ok so what exactly is 500mhz... if i look in cpu-z under the memory tab and i see 250.6mhz is this what they are talking about? or am i missing something here.

probably missin something hehe

also, i'm thinking of rma'ing this ram. at 2.8v i can get errors running at fsb of 255 when i used to be able to run at 260 2.9v with no errors.... seems like something happened to the ram over the last week.

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

I'm running mine at 255fsb which equates to 510fsb (255 x 2). Remember you are dealing with dual channel. I'm running this RAM with only 2.7vdimm.
