OCZ"s IC"s; where do I find them???

Recently I have been reading about OCZ buying up 30,000 Winbond BH_5's which are suppose to be great overclockers. I have EL DDR 4000 coppers and wonder what IC's I have. I am not experienced enough to pull the heatspreader.

I would like to know how one finds all of this on the OCZ website. I have tried but without success. I assume Mr. Bigtoe will probably know.

Thanks so much and hope all are getting back to normal after the big feast.

Triona

The 4000 uses hynix IC's, the 3500Plat LtdEd uses Winbond BH5 Ic's We use CH5 IC's and some Promo's also (that are our own design and pretty exciting)

Big Toe,

Thanks for getting back to me. Does OCZ publish this information somewhere??

Also, is the BH5 considered a better IC than Hynix?? More overclockable???

Happy holidays,

Jim

We don't publish this apart from telling users when they ask.

The Hynix will clock further at a lower vdimm but loser timings than the BH5.
