| What are you cooling with? Did you try to raise Vcore at all? Memory driving set at normal or strong? Try 7T, 9T instead of 5T, 7T?

Got 2 Rev3 to return on Monday!! I read where other members hit 160+ with it and my PC won't hit 155!!! That's with everything maxed out!! I give up and will just return it and wait until the Nforce mobos come out and build a REAL overclocker... DMA

Hey demenace, I have a 133 Tbird on an Iwill mobo. Talk about an oc'er, 1620mhz stable. Thought I'd throw that in case you can't wait. Lots of fun! '

Been there done that. 1008-3twk, core voltage and vio to max the video card reset itself to 16 colors at 2.00 vcore!!! I am happy to use my Infineon 7 ns(probably what Rev2 is) at 150fsb, vcore 1.85 with the tweaked BIOS I am still doing 4X anyway. It is a improvement. Muskin Rules e-mailed me about everyday last week to help me out! I guess the 1Ghz doesn't like to OC as much as I want. I had it up to 1177!! with my Infineon and core at 1.95!! That's as much as it'll do! Temps were so high even with my CAK and all the case fans working 100 percent. 48C  DMA

Na, no games on the net, just solo. Plain ole dial-up modem. The memory is rdram. I would think it, the Tbird would do great @ 1620.

Demenace, just as I said be patience bud, if you are in for Socket A - AMD based system, wait for NForce to show off, and wiat for that nice Palomino (could be 1.6 GHz +), at least this end of August or early September. Yes, IWill KK266 is rock solid and has the highest FSB overclocking than any other KT133A mobo. And AMD is a lot more fun to overclock, as I have told you in email. Did you finally get a full refund on that Rev 3? But, your CUSL2 with CAK at 48 C, that's high buddy. Cause here in Mushkin Island, the environment temperature is higher then where you are man, it's 32 C during the day, and 28-30 C at night, and very humid, just like in Dallas or Miami during summer. My CUSL2, with Hedgehog has lower temp than yours. Mine is improved with 38 - 40 idle, and 36 - 47 full load. Ceck again your demenace. Finally, Markus, can you be more specific on your hardwares & setting? Please tell us, so that we may assist you: - Bios version - Vcore - VIO - Highest FSB attained, with CAS setting (X-X-X Y/Z) - Heatsink and Fans (HSF) for processor + Any Thermal Paste? - Other Case fans - Temperature at idle & at full load - Which DIMM do you install your 2 x 128 MB Rev 3? I bet you're using the Intel PIII 1GHz PC133 stock fans, with that thermal tape still installed? And also try to take off your Lynksys NIC first, just to see what's holding you. I am more lucky than SKULL, my 1 stick 256MB Rev 2 can run as high as 160 CAS 2-2-2 7/9 on CUSL2 and 164 CAS 2-2-2-5 on A7V133. I ordered Crucial 1 stick 256MB PC133 CAS 2 via a friend in Dallas, TX and asked him to try it for me there using his CUSL2-C, and I guess I was not lucky enough that it can only run at FSB 150 CAS 2-2-2 7/9. Maybe Older Crucial sticks are better. So, I just ask my buddy there to bring me 2 Mushkin Rev 3 and 2 x 128MB Mushkin DDR . At least, I can try & review them myself

hey Skull, MR I'll bet that thing would fly with a DSL coonection that would actually keep up with you PC MY connection speed is now at 80kb/sec!!! I was lucky to get 6kb before. So, I haven't hardly played online because of the lag! I had such high latency with my older modem. I need to remove it from my MB because the Sandra brench says that it had too much latency in the PCI bus!! Anyway, I can download a file so fast now, I will need another hdd soon!! Kidding!! heheSi Amigo!! I am willing to hold out for the latest goods!! Seems whatever I buy, the next best versions comes out as soon as I get mine together!! Anyway, I don't have high temps if I don't try to boost the v core!! Normally, at 150, vcore 1.85 I see 41C. AND summer IS here in Dallas!! Ambient has been 36C Day and 25C(sometimes) Night!! My PC room is usually near 27C MB temp is 30C and I am at 31C idling with the fan on low. I tried to suck out the heatsink and result was a slight increase so went back to blowing. L8r, DMA
