Ok, exactly how many sides of memory can you put in?

Is it 3 or is it 5? Cuz I'm running 2 double layered sticks of 128 is that going to cause instability?

Single sticks are hard to find the only good ones i know of mushkin rev3's are there others?

Hello,

It is 3 Sides, although some people have good luck with running more than 3 sides, like yourself, most likely if you are stable then I would not worry about it. Corsair is single sided memory, and maybe micron and crucial memory.

The i815e chipset officially supports 4 sides of memory at PC133 specs. If more than that, it drops to PC100 specs for stability. See http://www.intel.com.

Some got lucky with 6 sides, but if you plan on getting the most out of O/C, stick to 4 sides or less.

Lightbulb

The 815e/p chipset supports 4 sides at 133Mhz.

I tried it in a friend's system with 2 sticks of double-sided PC133 CAS2 256Mb memory.

2 sticks of double-side = 4 sides.

It runs fine on 133Mhz.
