P4C800-E DLX + 2x512 OCZ 3200 Dual channel Platinum

Well, that's my configuration and i have a little problem :

When I let my MB configuring my memory, it is at 2-2-2-5-1 3200 but if i fix my fsb at 250 and that i set my ram at 3200 (400) with the same timings or anyone else, it does boot and it tells me that my overclocking failed. But if i let the memory being configure automatically it is set at 2600 with very bad timings. All that things with or without PAT

So for me my ram is at the top because it works at 2 2 2 5 1. My proc works well because it can support a fsb of 260.

Where is the pb ?

I though we can confirure a rating at 5/4 but i can't find this option in the bios. I wanted to use it by using my ram at 3200 with 2 2 2 5 1 timings and my proc at 3Ghz....

Thank u and sorry for my english....

You may not be able to run 2-2-2-5 with the 3200Plat.i have found 2.5-2-3-6 to be the most stable on Asus motherboards where 2-2-2-5 is ok on Abit.

I have a P4P800D here and will run tests for you if needed, i can say i do know 2.5-2-3-6 was just as fast as the 2-2-2-5 on the IC7.

Run some tests and report back how you get on.

Memtest gave me few errors at 2 2 2 5 but no more at 2 2 3 5 so there are my new timings !

It works well and my benchs are about the same, i'll try now to push the fsb a little bit....
