P4P800 DX + HyperX pc3200

Hey all, ive been lurking for the past few weeks and finally had a reason to post something.

I just did a new p4 build, specs as follows.

p4 2.4c
Asus P4P800 dx bios 1009
2x 512 Kingston HyperX (KHX3200AK2/1G)
ATI/Saph 9800np
Antec case w/ 430w PS.
XP pro

Here is the situation.

Windows will not load in dual channel mode at all. It will load with either dimm in any slot, just not with both in together. All performance mods are off in the bios, i tried upping the vdimm and relaxing the timings to 3-4-4-8 with no luck at all.

So i ran memtest86 and both sticks failed on test6.

I will probably RMA the Kingston for some ECZ 3200EL, hoping that may help.

Would you guys suggest anything else? Could it possibly be the mobo? Any other ram i could try? I dont have another p4 box here so i cant swap in some other ram to test out the mobo.

Thanks in advance

Roar
