P4P800 SE + 533 CPU--how to run memory ?

Hi,

Given this board and CPU , how do I run the memory at 333MHz ? I am not sure but think the modules are PC 2100. How can I check to verify if they are 2100 or 2700 modules? Secondly, am I better off to run 3 x 256 modules or 2x in dual channel mode ?

Thx.

If you run 3 sticks you will be running in single channel.
Best to run two or 4.

If you don't know what speed your memory is, leave the settings for memory at auto in the bios. When the system boots up you will see the memory speed and if it's in dual channel.

You can also download CPUZ, this free utility will give you info on your CPU, mobo and memory.
