PC3700 and up...CL3 only?

Every memory stick I've seen so far for PC3700 and PC4000 only have CL3. What's up with this? Looking at PC3500 and below have CL2.5 and CL2. Any reason behind this or can someone point me to a PC3700 or PC4000 with CL2?

Ok, here's what I'm looking for. 2 x 512MB (1024) sticks of PC3700 or PC4000 with a CL2. Seems that when I find the pack of 512's in either PC3700 or PC4000, it's CL3.

I have an Asus P4P800 Deluxe with a 2.4Ghz 800FSB Hyperthreading CPU. I'm looking for the best memory I can use with it.

Do most of you guys have PC3700 or PC4000 sticks? Will CL3 make that much of a difference when I try and overclock?

Well, I went with the match pair of 2 512MB Cosair PC3700 sticks. Even though it is CL3, I figured I can lower it to CL2.5 or even CL2 in the BIOS.

LOL to be rather blunt dude, from all i'm hearing about Corsair PC3700s you wouldn't be able to.
does your dealer have a restocking policy? cause now's about the right time to bring it back .

Thanks for the heads-up Roland. I was able to cancel the order. Thinking about OCZ PC3500. It's CL2.

I had to RMA my motherboard and memory. I am thinking about Mushkin now, High Performance Black Level 2 PC3500 CL2.

Rated specs for nForce2 chipset: 2-2-2-6

Rated specss for Intel 865/875 chipsets: 2-3-2-6

I am also thinking about OCZ. I'm still trying to figure out what the best bang for my buck will be. Any suggestions?
