| PC4200 at Cas 2.5? Have I just been away for awhile, or is this something new? I was under the impression that everything PC4000 and above operated at Cas 3 at best. http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...CHy nix%2CChi Anyone know anything about this? |

| Nope. My OCZ4000 Gold runs fine at 2.5.

| From OCZ's website it says: "OCZ Enhanced Latency PC-4000 memory using state of the art ULN technology is capable of achieving outrageous speeds of up to 500 MHz at CL 3-4-4-8." is the fact that yours can do 2.5 a fluke, or expected? |

| No I don't think it's a fluke. That's the specification. Try this link I am actually running it at 2.5,3,4,7 right now at 288mhz 5:4. It did that at 250 1:1 too.

| Well cool, I learned something new! Obviously I am not up on my stuff like I thought I was! What do you guys think is the best solution with bandwidth compared to timings then? I had thought it was OCZ 3700 gold, but I'm a little confused. Any recommendations? Would be for a 2.4C |

| If 512MB is enough for you then go with the 3700 Gold, if you want a gig go with the 4000 Gold.

| Yes I agree. For a 2.4c I would go with the 3700Gold for maximum overclock at 5:4. You would have the advantage of better timings at the same fsb as the 4000Gold.
