| Question and potential problem for my Mushkin basic PC3200 ram Hi.. I got this ram running dual channel at 400mhz, 2.5-3-3-7(yes, it's sad, I know) and my system is stable.. Anyway, I was told that by some guys working at Fry's if I run my ram at speeds below 400mhz, I should be able to use tighter timings. However, that's definitely not the case, as my system refuses to boot and this is at 250fsb using the 3:2 divider.. Is this normal? My specs: 2.4c @ 3.0ghz HT on Abit IS7 bios 1.6 2x256mb Mushkin basic(with Vantec heatspreaders) @ 2.8v, 400mhz, dual channel BTW, my GAT settings at Auto, normal, disabled, auto, disabled(something in that order) |

| Try 2.5-2-3-8 The 2nd value being RAS Precharge btw, put all the GAT settings to auto (=disabled) until you find out the best timings. You should do 2.5-2-3-8 at 5:4 too. |

| Got it running at 2-3-3-5, 360mhz, 270mhz fsb, but it wasn't stable.. Guess my processor sucks then.. Oh and my ram won't do 2-2-2-5 for some reason.. |
