this sound stupid but i want an answer.

does faster cpu contribute to higher score in sisoft memory benchmark or does the ram make the different???

izzit better to run at 133fsb with 2x128mb (388/465) or 1x 128mb at 160fsb (462/562) ???

The ram quality does make some difference - but the real "bang" these guys are getting is from the "eb" chips. The FSB that you run is really the difference.
I run a 700e @ 933 (133) on one of my rigs and the memory scores are way lower than these guys - then I have another rig that runs higher FSB's and the scores aren't even close.

ITs all about teh FSB, If i were you id stick with 256meg of RAM rather then a faster FSB with only 128meg. Hey Patent, what kind of memory are you using that you can do 2.2.2 at 157FSB? I want it! giVe it to me! =p

how do u disable the L2???
as far as i know, even you disable it in the bios, the cpu is set to enable it by default.

Don't disable l2 cache...it may allow you to overclock higher, but kills speed...p3 has 256k of l2 cache that stores instructions...if u disable it it has to pull that infor from ram which is a lot slower than the l2....run some real world games or apps or a benchmark like 3dmark2k or 2001 and see the difference.
