Ok guys, I hate to say this but and thats a BIG fat but. Crucial kicked my Mushkins ****! With my Mushkin 256 rev2 155 FSB for my 866eb cbo @222 and that was stable. With the Crucial 256 CAS2 the 866EB, now gets 159 fsb or 1033MHZ, 222, stable. I can run 160 fsb ok, except for games! I can get into windows @166 fsb @222 and thats it! Haven't tried any other settings. I really was surprised by the great oc'ing of Crucial memory. This is tough on a Mushkin man! lol... Hey did I
hear someone say ''Mushkin and Crucial Rules" WOW! My hearing must be going bad. lol...

After the responses in that promo post I made - I'm glad to see it working out for you.

My stick is sitting here on my desk - I suppose I should get off my duff and put it in...

Have you seen any difference in Sandra mem tests before an after?

I'm going to try that here in a few...

OK then, there are two best RAM: Mushkin & Crucial ... lol

Skull, can't you just run Rev2 @160 222 7/9 strong? Mine can do it man. Will pay more respect to Crucial. I am just as hell as curious about those OCZ RAM, especially the 170 MHz one. Can't just someone post any result here?

Skull, try it by enhancing the grounding material, you know that. Also try with CAS 3-2-2 & then 3-3-2 & the last 3-3-3 to see if your crucial can actually run to 160 stable. What is it again , the 128MB double sided Crucial right? And the chip is Micron. Do you check it with CTSPD to see the original maker of the chip? Where is OCZ man, where are you...?

Thumbs up

I just ran Sandra with the Mushkin Rev2.
Shut it off and popped in the Crucial. Same settings.

Mushkin = 361/401

Crucial = 385/426

Like I said - no setting change.
Hmmm...

Of course - the intention of my purchase was not for overclocking as I like to keep this one in specs because of the Raid.

That's great Skull is getting good results with his o/c.
Looks like this stuff is pretty good...

Hi Mushkin Rules

Running the same as my Mushkin - 222 5/7 @ 133.

Like I said - I didn't buy this one intending on o/c ing it.
After seeing the higher scores - I'm tempted to try it in my speed demon & see how it does.

My burner just got shipped today.
My eleven year old daughter is already explaining to me how to burn music off the net!!

I might have to buy my own...

Hey Guys, I'm going to try some different testing. I will work on my Mushkin memory to see if I can't bring it up a wee bit, in the oc'ing. I do think I had a weaker stick of Mushkin then some guys had! Right now I'm busy with a 3rd box, I threw together with my old Abit be6-2 mobo and 700 cpu. Installing w2k as I type this, so far its been smooth!
