Question Strangeness with new RAM; 'performance mode' on?

I just traded out 4 256MB sticks of old Corsair XMS for 4 512MB sticks of Corsair Valueram.

It's been good to me so far, DDR450 at stock latencies. Gotta run longer Memtest testing, though.

The odd thing is, I checked CpuZ, and where 'performance mode' was always set to 'disabled' before, it is now set to 'enabled'. I made no changes in the BIOS except for FSB speed, and all the memory booster stuff is either set to 'default' or 'Standard'. I thought 'performance mode' was not possible with all 4 DIMM's filled? Also, all the field text in CpuZ is blue; I remember it being black.

Oh yeah, it's a weird motherboard, the P4P800SE. I'm betting it's just a bug, but I thought I'd ask.

Memtest and Everest both say PAT is off, so it is just a glitch. Mod, go ahead and delete this thread.

I think we should leave this personally. If someone else gets this same discrepency, it may save them some confusion. Leaving it keeps it in the searchable threads. OK with you?
