Greets,

Does anyone have any idea why stuffpcr wouldn't work for me? I have set it up with the proper command line for the paths, and am using the 815.bin.

Despite this, my mem does fall to CAS3 and my AGP to 2x.

Thanks

Post your "command lines". Perhaps they are not correct!

Command Line

c:\Progra~1\StuffPCR\StuffPCR c:\Progra~1\StuffPCR\815.bin

I lose both CAS2 and 4x!

Thanks

I put stuffpcr and the bin file into c:\stuffpcr and then added this to my autoexec.bat:

C:\stuffpcr\stuffpcr C:\stuffpcr\815.bin

I don't know if it will make a difference, but it won't hurt to try it this way. Note there is a space between C:\stuffpcr\stuffpcr and C:\stuffpcr\815.bin

Good luck

My command line was somewhat longer, like
c:\utils\mbtweak\stuffpcr\stuffpcr.exe c:\utils\mbtweak\stuffpcr\whatever.bin
and it still worked (win98se). Try adding a "pause" statement in your autoexec.bat right after the stuffpcr line to see its output. It should say "success' or something if that is the result. You may also want to modify the things it tries to write for the AGP4x, of the three bytes only one needs to be changed at the time of DOS part of boot, that at offset B0. Moreover, changing CAS latency to 3 for FSB past 140 doesn't seem to be among the BIOS' crimes, but it does drop as part of security measure if a failed boot is detected, that is when you temporary get 66 MHz FSB.

Lightbulb Extract Stuffpcr

Hi,

I had the same problem. I forgot to extract the zipped Stuffpcr [1] file which is within the zipped stuffpcr file (does it make sense?). Anyway, you end up having 13 files in yur directory.
Hope it helps
