| which timings are better?? 252x10 @ 2.5-3-3-7 or 280x9 @ 2.5-4-4-10 both equal the same memory bandwidth (3130/3150) which unfortunately is lower than 260x10 by quite a bit, 200 or so so is it just preference?

| I have about the same settings, heres the difference in terms of benchmarks. 2530Mhz, 281Mhz RAM, 2.5-4-3-7 SuperPI: 34.047 Sandra Unbuffered: 3431/3619 2530Mhz, 253Mhz RAM, 2.5-3-3-5 SuperPI: 33.735 Sandra Unbuffered: 3352/3525 As you can see, it depends what bench you are running which will be better. I don't really see any difference at all in day-to-day use but I like SuperPI so I leave it at 253x10.

| I'm at 250x10 and my scores are 3421/3593. I'm not sure how important the other timings are but here is how mine are set.

| Those bandwidth numbers look okay. Not many people can go above 4000 in the unbuffered test. |

| Try 2.5-4-3-7. The Platinum Rev.2's are designed to run 2-2-2-5 at DDR400. But in order to run them higher, you need to loosen the timings. |
