Value RAM 2x512mb

I've got an a7n8x-e deluxe with 512mb and I'm looking to up it to 1gb. The machine runs linux and has a lot of memory hungry apps running on it. I'm currently 300mb into my swap space with about 8mb of ram free.

Anyway I don't want to spend to much on it and am not terribly concerned with performance as the box has no games installed on it except the ones that come with gnome and I never play them. I just don't want to have to keep waiting for it to load data from the swap all the time. Which of the kits on the first page would you buy? I've only ever bought high end ram from corsair and OCZ. Should I stick with them for value ram or are the other brands any better. My only real requirement is that it works with my mobo and doesn't require hours of tweaking. I think I've currently got some corsair xms sticks in this machine.

Thanks

I've built a bunch of machines with the Corsair ValueSelect 2x 512MB Kit.

For "basic" RAM it works very well and I have had no problems with it or complaints about it.

And the price is right, too!

Cool! You should have no problems with it whatsoever. No messing around in the BIOS, no tweaking: just pop them in and restart.

Yer done!
