got this reply from mushkin:

Hi Chip,
the 128mb rev 3 consistently reaches 166mhz 2 2 2. That is the only memory we
have that will do this.
the pc150 Hsdram is 2 3 2 & runs well into the 170s.
Let us know if you have additional questions

ly from mushkin:

also this review seems to also have gotten this to 166 at cas2

http://www.lostcircuits.com/memory/rev3/

now my question is:
How many have actually attained this level of latency at this fsb?????

I know ive asked this before but dint get much replies and the highest on the cusl2 w/ the rev3 that replied is 157mhz fsb@ 2-2-2 hopefully more responses this time-pls respond all you high fsb Rev3 owners.

my current rig: 800eb@1000 Mushkin rev2 (3-3-3 7/9)

Hi, this ram could reach 166fsb at 2-2-2 but in practice it would be more difficult cause in upper fsb like that PCI problem will come. Depending of hardware, running pci devices above 33mhz could be tricky (scsi adapter, sound card and ATA-100 adapter). Here im running Rev.3 155/155 2-2-2 5/7 rock solid ! on PIII800EB / CUSL2-LS with many fans and heatsinks. Ill try reaching 1GHz next week (would be hard ---> LS = LAN/SCSI onboard). For more info check my post in general overclocking section ---> CUSL2-LS little review part 1.

I would give it a try if I still had my PIII 500E flip chip. The REV 3 that I have runs at least up to 157 FSB at CAS 2 in my system...this is where my PIII 700 gives out.

I had the same problem. Was running 166 fsb, and wanted some cas2 memory to go with it. I opted for the Mushkin pc150 Hsdram. Pretty happy with it @ 166/2-3-2 7/9, but also wondering if I coulda done better with the rev3.

Hi, i was running with HSDRAM before changing for Rev.3. I was running at 2-3-2 7/9 166 mhz but not quite stable. For now with Rev.3 im running at 155 mhz 2-2-2 5/7 rock solid but i need to do more test.

Musaki,
Have you tried to go higher than 155 FSB (at 2-2-2) and not had any luck. Please tell us what your experience has been.

Thanks
