I have a stick of corsair cas 2-2-2, 133 mhz 256 mb.
If i want to set the bios option to 2-2-2 5/7 instead of 2-2-2 7/9 my system dont boot in windows! How is this possible?

If you can run your memory at 2-2-2 settings then you should be satisfied. The 5-7 instead of 7-9 is the least important as far as performance is concerned... Don't bother.
But if you still want to, why don't you try the 'strong' setting when at 5-7?

The biggest improvement comes from running @133 MHz instead of 100 MHz. The second one comes from 2-2-2 setting. Offcourse if your memory can handle 5/7 setting at specified fsb, your benchmark will be slightly higher. But at a certain point of higher fsb, your SDRAM just couldn't handle to do 5/7 setting. At that point' you should set it back to 7/9 setting.
