Arrow Will ECC memory work on a non-ecc Motherboard?

i have a Epox 8kta3 Motherboard, it uses non-ecc memory, but will it accept ecc memory? i have read on some pages that it will, just wont use all the ram.

If the motherboard is capable of handling ecc or non ecc. It's an either or proposition all ecc or all non ecc you can't mix the two.

I believe you CAN mix the two types, but the BIOS should be set for non-ECC. If there is no BIOS setting, it will automatically default to non-ECC.
