I just got a stick of 128 PC100 ECC for free. Will it work in my CUSL2 with 160mb of PC100 that's non ECC? Never ran into ECC before or had a need for it, so I'm kind of curious as to whether it will work or not

I had not problems with ECC. Though the actual ECC won't work, cos the 815 chipset doesn't support it.

it wasn't a matter of ECC working or not it was just a matter of 160 to 288 and I got it now even my small pathetic Cel2 633@810 is better than my parents Athlon machine. It's sad when both of my computers make my parents-which cost them about 500 more than either of mine-computer look like a Packard Bell. my main is a 1.344ghz Tbird with 512(2x256)MB Muskin R2, my LAN is an .810ghz Celeron with 288(2x128, 1x32).
