XMS3500 and P4P800 Deluxe...

Been running my P4P800 deluxe with 2x256mb of TwinMos ram but wanted to run more agressive memory timings so I purchased 2x256mb of Corsair XMS3500 Cas2. Placed the Corsair in and the system failed to post. Everything turned on fans etc, but all I got was a blank screen. Stuck the TwinMos back in and it worked perfectly again.
I highly doubt that both sticks are dead and was wondering if there is any compatability problems with a Corsair XMS3500 and P4P800 Deluxe combination? I got the Corsair as I understand they use Winbond BH5 chips which are on the ASUS DDR Ram approved compatability list.

The Corsair XMS3500 are rated at 2-7-3-3.

Prior to installing the Corsair, my TwinMos was running at 2-6-3-2. I powered down the system and slapped in the Corsair. Come to think of it, maybe the mobo got confused with the timings. I suppose I should have set it to SPD before taking out the TwinMos. But I cleared the CMOS many times when the Corsair did'nt boot.

Try lowering your timing like 2-2-2-6 also turn all the other enchancements off for now once you get it running then try turning them on one by one i'm using corsair xms pc3500 cl2 512mb x 2 and i have turbo turned on and my timing is 2-2-2-6 and also i turned off the usb legacy and the performance setting hope that helped LOL

That's all great m8 and I really appreciate your advice, but can't the blasted ram just plug in and work like my TwinMos?!?! I'm gonna give it another go tomorrow and see what happens. If it fails to work, I'll send it back and keep the TwinMos.
