| xp pro x64 bit and 4 gigs ram...? Hi all, nOOb here. I have XP Pro x64 bit, Asus P5B Deluxe, Intel E6600 2.4 Duo Core and 2 of 2GB DDR2 PC2-8500 SLI OCZ Memory (4 gigs). I do a lot of heavy poly 3d modeling so this is why I've got what I have because I thought I would be able to use 4 gigs of ram, my system is totally bogging down and I only see 3 gigs in system. Won't my specs be able to handle 4 gigs??? If it can will be please tell me what I have to do to activate it? If I have to go into the BIOS I'm good with that, just please be specific as to what and where in the BIOS. Thanks so much!!!

| Re: xp pro x64 bit and 4 gigs ram...? Yes, they are in correctly. But I keep getting virtual memory error and my system keeps freezing. Any Ideas? If Windows XP Pro x64 bit only sees 3 gb, does that mean I can't utilize 4 gigs???

| Re: xp pro x64 bit and 4 gigs ram...? Sounds more or less its a bios issue, normaly 64bit will see it with no problem. |

| Re: xp pro x64 bit and 4 gigs ram...? Im not sure on the name but i think its close to memory mapping. I would have to look at the manual so many different brands out there with different options and names. |
