Question Asus RMA phone number?

Hello,

I need to RMA my just-over-an-year-old CUSL2 back to ASUS, since, I believe, it's developed a chronic sickness in its IDE controller.

The dealer I purchased it from has a fixed one-year-only warranty policy and so, I now have to deal directly with ASUS. Can someone please give me the telephone number to call for ASUS Customer Service / RMA department. Thanks.

I looked for this info all over the ASUS website but, came up empty handed.

Just for the record, I purchased the CUSL2 from Central Computers (www.centralcomputers.com) - they have a retail location in Newark, CA nd that is where I bought mine. I've since then moved out of CA and am forced to deal with them over the phone.

Hi thickasabrick,

Try 510-608-4555, took me about 30-40 minutes to complete the process of getting through to a live human being.

The phone number for Asus RMA department is 510-608-4594.

I was able to get an RMA# in less than 10 minutes (including the hold time).

I told the rep there that my CUSL2 had a faulty IDE controller and she said "OK, just put the mobo in a box and ship it to us with the RMA# on the box - Don't include any accessories, manuals etc."

I am not sure if this means I'll be getting a new mobo or if they are going to test it, fix it and return the same thing... hope I get a new board... a TUSL2 would be nice...
