| Bug with MS Wireless Desktop & Vista? Has anyone else experienced this with Vista (Home Premium) and an MS Wireless Optical Desktop set (2000)? When disconnecting the USB reciever then reconnecting it, the keyboard / mouse are no longer recognized and won't reregister. No amount of swapping usb ports / insterting alternative usb / ps2 keyboards (although they themselves work...), uninstalling / reinstalling drivers / devices will re-enable the mouse and keyboard. It seems to be hardware related though as they're not even recognized at post. It did the same with two seperate recievers though. To fix it I had to get a completely different MS wireless mouse from a desktop elite set, register that with the reciever (which then worked), then register the original mouse with the reciever and then both the original mouse and keyboard were working again. AFAIK I had no problem in XP, but I've only tried to replicate the bug once on there.
