Can't read DVD's

My computer has been able to read dvd's since i but in a cd / dvd burner in. The other day i put in a disc to install a game that happened to be a dvd. My computer doesn't even see the disc in the drive. I thought this was prob a burnt out drive but i put another dvd drive that i knew for sure worked and it didn't. i tried to change the regions ont he drive threw devmanger and i have set it to the correct region. I do not understand why this has happened out of the blue all the sudden. Can anyone help please. thanks

PS. I tried to put in DVD movie and it works... This is really weird.
