When i woke up, i turn on my comp, it goes on but the monitor says to plug in my 9800 pro, it does this sometimes so i fixed it, i tried turning it on and no go, i figured that cheapo psu finally died, ive had some problems with it lately, is my deduction correct? i ordered a new psu already, what else could have cause my dilemma? |

| It's hard to say what could be the problem. If you have a cheapo PSU, then it could very well be that it is causing your problems. I would replace the power supply now with a name brand PSU (Antec, Fortron Source, or Enermax) if there is any question that it might be failing. Once a cheap power supply fails, it has a tendancy to take the most expensive parts of your PC with it.

| It's good...let's just hope it is the power supply that is the problem and not the 9800 Pro. ![]()

| It could be anything, especially a PCI card. |
