help needed

im srry for this messy post but i'm posting from my ngage since my comp broke... When i woke up, i turn on my comp, it goes on but the monitor says to plug in my 9800 pro, it does this sometimes so i fixed it, i tried turning it on and no go, i figured that cheapo psu finally died, ive had some problems with it lately, is my deduction correct? i ordered a new psu already, what else could have cause my dilemma?

It's hard to say what could be the problem. If you have a cheapo PSU, then it could very well be that it is causing your problems.

I would replace the power supply now with a name brand PSU (Antec, Fortron Source, or Enermax) if there is any question that it might be failing. Once a cheap power supply fails, it has a tendancy to take the most expensive parts of your PC with it.

It's good...let's just hope it is the power supply that is the problem and not the 9800 Pro.

It could be anything, especially a PCI card.
