| I have recently upgraded to a CUSL2 from a CUC2000. I have performed a clean install of Windows ME. Everything works great except the Dexxa Optical Wheelmouse. It moves erratically, buttons seem to work of their own accord and it makes the system hang in any given circumstance (playing UT is a good example). I have used numerous and latest mouse drivers - generic ps2, dexxa, logitech, and Microsoft and none of them have fixed the problem. Any other standard ps2 mouse works fine on the CUSL2. The optical mouse worked without a hitch on the CUC2000 m/b using ME and still works perfectly on any other system. I could only think that it is either a faulty mouse, faulty ps2 connection on the M/B, BIOS settings, or driver issue. One interesting difference is that the standby light at the back of the mouse is constantly lit even when the machine is shut down. This does not happen on any other system. Can anyone give me advice on this or has anyone experienced similar probs. Thanks P3 600eb, win me Cusl2 20gb Ibm HDD 256mb pc133 |

| Buy a new mouse. Not worth fighting what appears to be a driver issue. my 2 cents worth. |
