| Holiday Greeting cards - and the surprise inside Some people may feel I'm a little bit insensitive, but the first thing I do when they give me one of those cards that play a song is that I rip it up. You see most of them take the CR2032 3.0 Volt battery which powers the BIOS in most of todays Motherboards. By the way, it is often cheaper to buy one of those holiday cards than to buy the battery by itself. ![]() |

| Re: Holiday Greeting cards - and the surprise inside I found an ebay offer of 10 cr2032 batteries for $1, with postage of 87 cents. It was a Chinese ad, but what the hell, I sent in my $1.87. One week later I got the batteries in a package mailed from China! Dunno if they will fall apart, but they work fine...
