| Re: Logitech LX3 Optical Mouse, ME LIKES!!! Ok, I am unable to transition from the MX300 size and weight to the G5 size and weight. My hands are on the small side for a guy. I never noticed that I use only my fingers to move the MX300. The G5 requires my entire hand to move it with precision, which is quite uncomfortable. Anyways, I've been reading many reviews and opinions regarding two mice that have the same body as the MX300: G1 (seems to only be available overseas) and the G3 (same G5 tech, but the side buttons may get in the way). Anyone have experience with either mouse or can they give me a suggestion on a similar weight and size? |

| See if there's a big weight in your mouse, and remove it. You have to take all the slide pads off the bottom. Just BE CAREFUL with them, use a RAZOR BLADE. Then put them back on when you're done, you have to preserve the sticky side if you do that. Or, you can put a weight in the LX3 like I did to make it feel like a nicer mouse. I'm going to make a teflon slider pad for the bottom, and polish it really good so it slides REALLY SMOOTH. I dunno, I still like my LX3 except for the stupid drivers. |
