Logtech G9 Shape Hi, I'm considering buying the Logitech G9 for the shape. It's the only Logitech gaming mouse that resembles the MX300 and G1 design (2 mice I can't find anywhere). Is it worth the price? I've used the classic Logitech shape for about 6 years and it is now a core component of my soul.

Re: Logtech G9 Shape I've been VERY happy with the G5 / G7 type design. I prefer the weight of the G5, and not having to bother with battery swapping. I bought a G9 and I HATE IT WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING. It is flat, very awkward to use if you are familiar with the G5/G7 type of mouse, and feels very small, even with the 'wide grip' attachment. I gave mine to my wife, she likes it, but she has small hands. Be forewarned!

Re: Logtech G9 Shape Well, after using the G5 for about a week, my RTS skill has decreased dramatically; this is why I'm looking into the G9. Here's something unexpected that happened today. I was at work getting upset at this horrid trackball mouse that I was using on another co-workers desk. I searched the desk for a mouse, and she had a Dell opitcal mouse made by Logitech. I asked her if I could have it and she said "Yes, please have it." Well, I guess I'm strange since I like this mouse way more than the G5. Still, the DPI is rather low. So I'm hoping yesasia will get the G1. If not, I'll probably buy the G9 since the G5 users hate it.
