| I just ordered one! My 22" Samsung Syncmaster 215tw (which I love) blew the DVI port. Other than no DVI input port everything else works perfectly! I'm using the VGA port ATM. It's under warranty but Samsung has no more of this model to do an exchange. So I have to send them this one to repair. BTW does anyone have the sound bar for the Dell monitor? ![]() __________________ Asus X48 Rampage Formula / Intel Q9450 2.66 @ 3.2 / 2 x 2GB OCZ Reaper HPC PC2 8500 / VisionTek Radeon HD3870X2 OverClocked Edition / Western Digital Raptor X Hard Drive / Two Western Digital Caviar RE2 WD5001ABYS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drives / Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Elite Pro 7.1 / Creative Gigaworks S750 7.1 Speaker System / Lian Li 343B cube case / PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Crossfire Edition |

Hi Trav, Isn't Samsung supposed to send you the next newer model, at least a refurbished one...? ![]()

I wish they had a refurbished one. Sadly Samsung is now not making full featured monitors. Every one that they make is "missing something" that I would like to have. They did offer to send a 24" monitor. But I'd rather have the full featured DeLL 24" monitor which does have everything I'm after. And I would still like to have a 1680x1050 monitor which is where the Samsung that I have comes in. Question for you bajo: My 2408WFP just arrived. I connected a VGA cable from one computer to it and a DVI cable from another computer to it. When I push the Input Select button at the bottom of the screen to change between the two computer inputs, the Input Select button cycles through all eight possible input ports every time I go to change between the two computers. Now my Samsung monitor could sense the two cables and its Input Select button would just cycle only between the two "live" ports and skip over all the others. Is there a way to do this with the DeLL monitor? Or do I have to go through all eight each and every time I change the input source? ![]() __________________ Asus X48 Rampage Formula / Intel Q9450 2.66 @ 3.2 / 2 x 2GB OCZ Reaper HPC PC2 8500 / VisionTek Radeon HD3870X2 OverClocked Edition / Western Digital Raptor X Hard Drive / Two Western Digital Caviar RE2 WD5001ABYS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drives / Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Elite Pro 7.1 / Creative Gigaworks S750 7.1 Speaker System / Lian Li 343B cube case / PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Crossfire Edition | |
