| Sandisk Cruzer Thumbdrive problem I have the 2gb version of above mentioned, and I have formatted it on my PC as well as my Mac, and no matter what, when I plug it in to my PC usb, the Sandisk Launchpad pops up, with it's various options. I dont want that to come up, ever! I have searched my PC for any sandisk programs, and I have formatted and reformatted this thumbdrive many times. How can I get rid of this pesky software? I'm running Vista Ultimate w/sp1, Core2duo 6600, 4 gigs ram. |

| Re: Sandisk Cruzer Thumbdrive problem Seriously but I hate apps that self install without warning. I run a tight ship and dont like unknown apps doing things. I will not tolerate devices that do this. Codecs are the worst. Apps are always installing them. Hi, I'm a codec, you dont mind if I install myself do you? I'm just a few thousands lines of executable code after all! Its bedlam with codecs overwriting other codec pointers in the registry.

Taking the film back to Enterprises origins was a great idea and I think worked very well with the characters really feeling alive and refreshed, although I'm still freaked out by the Spock/Uhura thing ... I'm still a little unsure about how I feel about Vulcan's alternative timeline too. There are references and amusing one liners for the Trekkers but the truly amazing thing about the movie is that non-Trekkers can watch it and enjoy it on the Sci-Fi/action movie level... speaking of which this is one facet of the movie that troubles me; it seems to be more action than substance if you know what I mean, because the Star Trek movies were always heavy on social issues but this movie seems lighter in that regard and I guess I want to see it again before I comment further. Probably see it again in the next few days.
