| I had that problem with SB Live! Value on my system. The problem is that when I upgraded to HT enabled CPU the system crashes with BSoDs when playing some games, here are some of that games: GTA III, GTA Vice City, Toca Race Driver, Colyn McRae Rally 3... game freezez for a second sound loops and than Blue Screen appears. BSoD screen reports error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Then I contacted Creative Support they told me that Live! is not compatible with HT and that Audigy 2 is. So I bought Audigy 2 OEM but the problem was the same !!! Then I decided to reinstall windows XP from scratch. The problem was gone all was working fine untill tomorrow. During that time I updated windows through windows update etc. Tomorrow that error reappeared and the system always hang with that error when I play that games. The only solution I found is to disable HT through BIOS and change ACPI Multiprocessor PC to ACPI PC (in device manager). And when I do that problem is gone!!! But the fact is that that is not an answer because HT is disabled Please somebody help me!! P.S. my full system specs is in my profile.

| I have this exact same issue, the only thing I could do was turn off hyperthreading and downclock my 3.0ghz p4 to 2.7ghz (i think my p4c800 deluxe has some problems with my ati radeon 9700 pro all-in-wonder as well, and/or possibly bad hardware) |

| A little update, I think I have pretty much solved my problems. I can now run (stable) at 3.0ghz with hyperthreading enabled by doing the following things: In the bios: - turn off spread spectrum - set the AI overclocker Tuner to manual - change the AGP/PCI frequency from AUTO to 66:33 - change Performance mode from AUTO to standard the problems with my audigy2 and AIW 9700pro seem to have ceased by doing this |
