I don't own them, but there have been quite a few people on ABX who have Z-680s and are very happy with them.

For me Megaworks 550THX.
Klipsch are up to the same level.
Z-680's fall shortly behind.

Klipsch 4.1 here...my wife shuts the door to my office (comp room) with a very authoritative bang when I fire up a FPS or flight sim, so I guess they're working just fine !

There is a good review in the latest CPU magazine on high-end speaker systems, including the ones listed in this poll. The winner by a very slight margin were the Z-680's followed by Klipsch.

Personally, I have the Z-680's, love them, couldn't ask for more.

Well yeah, price vs. performance the Z-680's would win. I think what hes saying is what is the best sounding speakers. Klipsch would most defienly win.

For ALL OUT BEST Logitech Z-680's but you could save some money and go with the Z-560's. Either way both are AWESOME for the price. Ya can't beat the value. I also like the new Klipsch Ultra's. YUM YUM!

OK, picked up the Klipsch Promedia Ultra 5.1

The only way for me to compare with the Z-680 was at BestBuy and it's not the best listening environment. Besides, they are always set up incorrectly if they work at all.

The Z680s seemed really powerful, especially the sub, which would be good for movies and games but the Klipsch may be a bit better for music listening. I was going to get a HTIB but all of them in the $400-$500 dollar range seemed a bit cheesy. I also got the feeling that while they might sound good for movies, music might not do as well on these systems.

Also, I couldn't figure out a way to mount the Z680s to standard satellite stands without doing some custom configuration. The mounting screw is at a 45 degree angle instead of on the bottom or back of the satellites.
