| Neat. Bad choice of name, though. My first reaction was "does it only play BS?"

| From the about page on the website: Why name BSplayer ? It's named after first author. His name is Boris -> Boris SOFTware->BST->BSPlayer It sounds nice enough, though. Might try it out to replace MicroDVD. The about page says nothing about DVDs unfortunately.

| While I use PowerDVD, the file extensions that BSPlayer offers to register includes .vob, which is DVD. |

| Just thought I'd bump this thread for no real reason. I installed BSPlayer today after MicroDVD wouldn't play subtitles without a huge amount of fuss. Since I don't understand Mandarin yet wanted to understand what Pai Mei said (yes, Kill Bill volume 2), MicroDVD was out on its butt... It's very nice. Very nice indeed. I'd recommend it to anyone.

| I'm looking for something to replace the very nice but kind of out of date now Media Player Classic. What are my options, or is BSplayer the best one? Also, I use the K-lite codec pack, in which MPC comes with it. Should I try a different codec pack too? |
