dvd Xcopy

Hello guys and gals,

Noobie here, small problem or big problem. Am giving my son my old computer but I need a program from it onto my new computer before I delete it from the one I'm giving him.
As you may know or not 321 studios has closed down and its an electronic delivered key code.
How do I move the program from my old 98se to my new comp running on XP. Any help much appreciated.

Its very difficult to move programs between computers because of all of the things they install, program folders, registry keys, etc. I would consider this an acceptable use for a key generator.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled that program a few times already. The last time was only a month or so ago and the activation went fine. Just uninstall it from your son's computer (this is probably optional, you may be able to leave it on your son's computer. With 321 Studios now defunct, I don't think there are any licencing issues to be concerned with) then install as usual on your PC. As long as you still have the original CD and the Username/Password that's on the inside of the CD case it should be fine.

Check to make sure you still have activations left. When the company DVDXCopy took over from 321 Studios, some registered users lost their activations. You can check to make sure you have activations left by following the information on this web site. http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/123330
